More About The Panasonic FlashXpress Toaster Oven
The Panasonic Toaster Oven will fit neatly and compactly on any countertop. It uses infrared technology It can perform multiple functions like baking, toasting, and reheating. The push button controls are user friendly and easy to understand, so you won’t have to guess which function is for which purpose.
The most wonderful thing I love about this toaster oven is that there is no preheating required. Toaster ovens that I have used in the past always seemed to take so long to preheat, it drove me mad. If you are not a very patient person like me, then a toaster oven with no preheating required is a must and this is why it is considered one of the best small size toaster ovens. The heating elements are ceramic and high-efficiency quartz. They are positioned in the front and the back. This position allows the oven to cook food quickly and evenly from the inside out.
There are six intuitive one-touch control buttons to help you cook food quickly. The six preset buttons are:
- Toast
- Waffle/Frozen
- Roll/Preheat
- Pizza/Frozen
- Quick Reheat
- Hash Brown/Frozen
It also comes with temperature control buttons. The temperature range is 250 – 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
Another feature I like and worth mentioning is the back rack. The rack automatically slides out when you open the oven door. This will help avoid burns by having to put your hands inside a hot oven. I have burned myself many times trying to get a rack out of a hot oven. So this features makes a lot of sense to me.
You won’t have to worry about your food burning either. The smart sensor will heat up or cool down automatically during cooking to ensure your food doesn’t overcook. And for an extra layer of protection, the automatic shut-off button cuts off when the timer does so your food doesn’t continue cooking and possibly burn.
Included accessories are a square baking pan and a removable crumb tray.

More About The Toshiba (AC25CEW-SS) Toaster Oven
The Toshiba Toaster Oven offers many features. It has 10 cooking functions so you can make almost anything with it. The 10 cooking functions are:
- Toast
- Bake
- Broil
- Pizza
- Cookies
- Defrost
- Reheat
- Rotisserie
- Keep warm
- Convection
On the outside of the oven on the glass are printed indicators of the rack placement for different types of food. The indicators are:
- Cookie
- Toast
- Roast
- Broil
- Bake
- Pizza
- Meat
There are three racks in all. Also on the outside are 3 control knobs that are easy to turn.
To be so small, this toaster oven is very spacious. It can fit a 12 inch pizza and six slices of toast with no problem. On top of that it can also roast a whole chicken.
I love the rotisserie and convection functions of this oven. With the convection function, your food will be cooked evenly, making it tender and not drying it out. You can slow cook your meat with the rotisserie function. Watch in anticipation as your meat slowly revolves and browns, while the juices drip down into the pan. Make your own deli meat with this functions and saves tons of money.
Once you are done cooking, it’s time to clean up but don’t worry it won’t take too long and it won’t be too hard. After each use and after cooling, of course, remove the crumb tray and wash it off. Then use a clean damp cloth to wipe the inside. If you clean the oven after each use, you won’t have to worry about grease build-up and can preserve the life of your toaster oven much longer.
A removable crumb tray, baking pan, and three-piece rotisserie kit are included.

Toaster Oven Recipes:
Once you purchase your toaster oven, I’m sure you will be excited to put it to work. Therefore I have included a few recipes that you can make specifically in your toaster oven.
5-Minute Miso-Glazed Toaster Oven Salmon Recipe
Find the original recipe here
Ingredients:
1/4 cup red or white miso
1/3 cup sake
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 cup sugar
4 skinless salmon filets, at least 1 inch thick, 5 to 6 ounces each
Directions
- Whisk together miso, sake, soy sauce, oil, and sugar. Rub mixture over every surface of salmon filets. Transfer to a plastic zipper-lock bag or sealable container. Proceed immediately to the next step, or for best results, marinate for about 30 minutes or up to two days.
- Preheat a broiler (toaster oven or regular oven) to high. Cover a small broiler pan with aluminum foil. Rub excess marinade off of salmon and place on broiler pan. Broil until top surface is well charred and salmon is barely warm in the center, about 5 minutes, using the foil to protect any areas that threaten to burn. Serve immediately.
Single Serving Peanut Butter Cookies
Find the original recipe here
Ingredients:
(Makes 1 or 2 cookies)
- 2 tbsp flour (I used ww pastry)
- 1.5 tbsp peanut butter
- 1/16 tsp baking soda
- very scant 1/16 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1.5 tbsp agave or maple syrup (Or use 3/4 tbsp each sugar and brown sugar, or 1.5 tbsp xylitol)
- 1 tsp applesauce (or more, if using dry sweetener)
- optional: add some chocolate chips if you wish!
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients. Add pb and wet ingredients. Mix well and form into one or two cookies. Flatten into cookie shapes and bake in a preheated oven at 350F for 8-10 minutes. (I used my toaster oven. Readers have reported success in a microwave as well.) Note: if you use liquid sweetener, it’ll be more cake-y. If you use the sugar, it’ll be more chewy.
