Which is better, a food processor or a blender?

These two products shouldn’t really be compared in this manner. A seasoned cook knows that a well-prepared kitchen contains many appliances. A blender is good for blending things like smoothies, soups, drinks, and things of that nature. But a food processor can help you make not only peanut butter but also bread, hummus, pesto, you get the idea. You can do a whole lot more with a blender than you can with a food processor. A blender has a faster speed than a food processor therefore you aren’t able to control the consistency of your food like you can with a food processor. However, if you want a blender/food processor combination then would recommend a Vitamix blender which has the capacity to do both jobs well.
